Trix1.0
The object of Trix is to color in as much of the playfield as
possible. This is done by drawing a line enclosing a section of the
playfield. Start drawing by pressing the joystick fire button and moving
your man (the small white cross) away from the playfield boundary. Stop
drawing by moving your man back to the boundary. The enclosed area will
be colored blue (fast draw) if you release the fire button or orange
(slow draw) if you continue to hold it. When you color 60% or more of the
playfield you will be awarded a point for every percent above 60. Area
colored orange counts double. The edge of the colored area becomes the
new playfield boundary.
You must avoid the Trix, the Sparkles and the Foos (does any of
this sound familiar?). The Trix is a fan of colored lines in the playfield
that will kill your man if you are drawing and it touches the drawn line.
The Sparkles are two white clouds that travel the playfield boundary in
opposite directions. The Foos is another sparkle that starts at the
beginning of the line you are drawing, if you stop moving while drawing.
The program is similar to a popular arcade game.
If you have any comments, get them to Kvasir the Aesir on the

Trix1.0 (Copywrite 1988 G. Hales) is not in the public domain.
However, you can use the program freely and you can pass it on so long
as you don't accept any money for it or make any changes to it. You must
include this file with the program if you pass it on.
My thanks to Paul Fortin and Tony S for their help.
